PRE SEASON ACTIVITIES

January - April 16   We are getting ready for YOU and 2010 Season!!
 
We are beginning to launch the boats from outside storage this week and our water construction project is in its final stage. We are here during the week but are restricting access until we finish our dock and construction work. We expect to have water and electricity to the docks by our opening on the 17th. You may launch your boats starting April 17th.  If you have any questions please feel free to call Sis or Pam 814-658-3074. See you soon!


April 17 Opening Weekend
                             (winter weather permitting..ok so far) Remember to pick up your parking                passes and treats at the Oar House - we're planning to do coupons again!

1  Princess Lake Cruiser -- weekend public sightseeing tours 1PM-2:30 (new time)

     15       2010 Raystown Lake Clean Up Dive @ 7 Points Marina. Produced by R& Scuba,                               Dave Smith and his certified divers will conduct a sweep of the marina. This project is       in conjunction with Project Aware which is designed to promote the conservation of                                   underwater environments both in salt and fresh water. The event is sponsored by R&C                               Scuba, Project Aware and Seven Points Marina. Spectators are invited to learn about                               scuba and also see what comes up!  If you are interested in more information contact       Dave Smith david@rcscuba.net or 251-4041.

  15&16       Raystown Striper Club's Annual Reunion Striped Bass Tournament -                                               headquartered at Seven Points Marina with final weigh in Sunday May 16. Visit the                                   Oar House for details. Proceeds from the registration support the stocking of Striped                                 Bass in Raystown Lake. If you'd like to become a member of RSC, you may talk with                               Striper Club members during the tournament. 

22 3-6PM     DRY DOCK SOCK BURN!!  Slipholder Appreciation... for dock and rack customers & their families!! 
Plan to bring a pair of your winter  socks, burn them and put your flippy floppy's on for the SEASON.
Activities include: 
Kids Games - coordinated by 1st mate Christy and Juniata Valley High School Club
DJ and Trivia Games by John Horn -on Clem's Deck facing the NEW Fire Pit!! 
Clem says "Our specials will make waves!" 
 Come sit around the new fire pit, sit on our docks and enjoy the fellowship of fellow 7 Pointers!!

28-31  Memorial Day Weekend

30  7PM-11PM    Fireworks Cruise to Tatman Run - Kent Martin performs on the upper deck of The                                                        Princess Lake Cruiser as we travel to Tatman Run to view LRR's fireworks.  Pre-paid                                                    reservations are required. No refunds. Cost $25 Adults; kids under 12, $12.50. We provide                                          4 hour tour and entertainment.   Chips,pretzels and soda are available for sale. Seats are limited so reserve asap! 
June 
12 National Marina Day  - to celebrate the fun of boating, reinforce safety of boating and environmental stewardship of this pristine lake.   So far we have Rangers from US Army Corp, PA Fish and Boat Commission, US Coast Guard Auxilliary, Friends of Raystown, RAYCEPT....more as we further develop the event.  Event will be held in grassy area between Clem's and Rothrock Outfitters on the marina complex.

We may also have category of boats so vessels of all sizes have a chance to win! 
Entry fee revenue will be matched by the marina and 100% contributed to Huntingdon Community Center to support programs for our youth!
